Videocon Mobile Service To Roll Out In Himachal Pradesh And Uttar PradeshVideocon Mobile Services is going to roll out its GSM services in two more circles - Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh (East and West) very soon.

Videocon Mobile Services already has its presence in 7 more circles - Tamilnadu, Mumbai, Punjab, Haryana, Kerala, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.




Though there is no official news from Videocon, as no press release or no twitter updates from VMobi(VMobi account is quite inactive in twitter, last post was on June 4) Videocon's website lists Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh (East and West).

Videocon is not coming with any exciting or innovative offers, rather it sticks to basic 1paisa per second call rate. V-Start or Videocon's Start up kit comes at Rs 49 with lifetime validity and Rs 5 talktime and base tariff will be all local calls Re1/min and all STD calls at Rs 1.50/min, and SMS will cost Re 1 and Rs 1.5 for local and STD as well.

You can enjoy per second tariff with a First Recharge of Rs 61 which will offer a full time of Rs 61 and per second tariff for a complete 1 year or 365 days.


Videocon SIMs will be available very soon in Videocon’s E-Digi world, Planet M and also in Next Retail outlets of UP east and West, and Himachal Pradesh.

Initially Videocon is coming with some basic value added services. Missed Call alerts is priced at Rs.15 per month, Internet/GPRS is being priced at 10paisa/10kB and caller tunes at Rs 30 per month. Videocon as it ties up with Facebook, will offer free facebook to its users via 0.facebook.com.We hope Videocon will launch other exciting VAS offering as soon it launches its services in those circles, and eventually bring the unlimited GPRS voucher (at just Rs 96).
