Another month, another Chinese brand entered the Indian market. 10.or (pronounced as (Tenor) owned by a Chinese firm Huaqin Technology has announced 10.or E smartphone, which will be exclusively available on Amazon India.
The company announced two variants of the 10.or E smartphone- one with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, and the other one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The 2GB/16GB variant will retail for Rs. 7,999, and the 3GB/32GB variant goes for Rs. 8,999. The device is aimed at competing with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 4, Yu Yureka Black.
"India is a large market for smartphones, 10.or is a great buy for those looking for great features and reliable performance at an attractive price. We learnt a lot from Amazon's customer insights. This product has been designed and developed specifically for India. With world-class design, features and functionality, we are confident this product will resonate well with customers in India. We will work towards bringing more innovations to the market soon," Jeffrey Liu. Key Account Director. Huaqin Technology said in a press statement.
The 10.or E will be available in two colour options- Aim Gold and Beyond Black. Under the hood, the device has decent specifications, especially for the asking price. The smartphone has a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset.
The highlight of the phone, however, is that it runs Android 7.0 Nougat and 10.or is promising software updates along with monthly security patch fixes. 10.or E is confirmed to receive Android 8.0 Oreo update by the end of this year. As seen with other Amazon exclusive smartphones, the 10.or E also comes preloaded with Amazon Prime Video, Amazon, and Amazon Kindle apps.
Optics in the device include a 13MP rear camera, along with a 5MP front-facing camera. This entire package is backed by a 4000mAh battery and has fast charge support as well. The device comes with connectivity options such as 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, and a micro USB port. There's a fingerprint scanner located at the back of the phone, which is claimed to unlock the phone in just 0.2 seconds.
