Announcing the new value for money product, KC Narendran, circle business head, UP East said, “Telenor is loved by customers for its affordable and value-for-money products and services. STV 28 would give customers the freedom to call their near and dear ones without getting worried about higher tariffs. This gives them the flexibility to do both local and STD calling at the most affordable tariff of 25 paise per minute, which is one of the lowest in the industry and in this market.”

The company also said that it’s over 6.5mn customers have already enrolled for free life insurance cover under insurance scheme Suraksha, a first-of-its-kind initiative in the telecom industry.
