Telenor Denmark Extends Partnership with TCS to Enhance IT Infrastructure and Automation
Indian IT services and consulting company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has extended its partnership with Telenor Denmark (TnDK), the second-largest mobile operator in the Danish market, for an additional five years to provide managed IT infrastructure services. TCS will continue leveraging its Machine First Delivery Model and edge automation technologies to enhance TnDK’s operations, serving over 1.6 million subscribers.

Seamless Business Continuity

The extended collaboration ensures seamless business continuity and operational cost reductions. TCS will manage Telenor Denmark's IT infrastructure from its European delivery centre over the next five years, optimising digital assets and improving user experiences.

Louise Haurum, Chief Technology Officer, Telenor Denmark, said, "By continuing our collaboration, we are confident that TCS will continue to deliver the strategic insights and technological expertise required to navigate the complexities of our evolving business environment."

Akhilesh Tiwari, President of Communications, Media and Information Services (CMI) at TCS, said, "Using our proximity delivery centre capabilities in Europe, we will support Telenor Denmark in achieving operational delivery excellence."

TCS Telecom Capabilities

TCS says it serves five of the top 10 global telecom operators, four of the top six European operators and six of the top seven North American operators. Its capabilities in the industry include digital transformation, API-fication, cloud services, network services, infrastructure services, automation, agile/DevOps, data and analytics.

The extended partnership will see TCS manage the telecom operator's IT infrastructure with an automation-first delivery approach.
