Tata Sky Broadband

Tata Sky is a very reputable brand in India. But when someone talks about the company, he/she is usually referring to its Direct-to-Home (DTH) services. Tata Sky is right at the top when it comes to providing satellite TV services throughout India. But there’s one more segment where Tata Sky is building its brand, and that is the fiber broadband market. Tata Sky Broadband has already expanded its services in multiple parts of the country and is continuously investing in its fiber networks to reach more cities as fast as possible. The company offers some benefits to its broadband subscribers that most of the internet services providers (ISPs) don’t do. So what are those benefits? Here’s everything you should know.

Tata Sky Broadband Every Benefit Details

First of all, the company is offering free expert installation and setup of the fiber connection for the users. To top this, Tata Sky Broadband also provides the users with a free modern dual-band router that can comfortably deliver high speeds. But this is not everything that a user is promised when he/she purchases a new fiber connection from the company.

On its website, Tata Sky Broadband has promised that users will get a Wi-Fi network with super-fast speeds and an uptime of 99.9%, which is almost every time. Further, the company promises uniform speeds to the users. This means that if a user has purchased a 300 Mbps plan from the company, he/she will get 300 Mbps download as well as upload speed. In simple words, uniform speeds mean the same speed for both upload and download. This is what is expected by most Internet service providers (ISPs), though.

The company promises that users get a completely secure network. Also, users have the flexibility of changing the plan they are on anytime they wish to. All the broadband plans from the company come with unlimited data, which is 3.3TB (3,300GB). Post the users have consumed the fair-usage-policy (FUP) data for the month, the speed of the plan will be reduced to 3 Mbps.

Tata Sky Broadband also promises users a free landline connection. However, for the setup of the landline connection, the company won’t provide the telephone, but the connection line will be provided to the customer without any additional cost.

Note that there are ISPs such as JioFiber, Airtel Xstream Fiber, Excitel and more who provide some or all of the offers/benefits that Tata Sky Broadband is providing. But then there are many companies that operate regionally that don’t provide such offers. In that case, the plans from Tata Sky Broadband automatically become a wiser option.
