With all the Mobile service operators following the suite of wooing their customers with “Attractive GPRS” plans, now State Operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) have also joined the league with the launch new GPRS pack as earlier we shared on TelcomTalk. But their scheme seems a bit different from the lot.

BSNL recently initiated a radical move in the Indian GSM mobile industry by making mobile Internet GPRS/EDGE service more affordable to its all Postpaid and Prepaid mobile customers in India Few days back Tata DOCOMO also launched 5 new ‘GPRS on Demand’ Packs.

At first glance Tata Docomo Plans is good as its entry cost is Rs.5 for small usage of 10MB/Day But it was still unfortunate that Tata DOCOMO GPRS packs are not the Best Deal for frequent GPRS users on Tariff and Pan India Network coverage in compare to BSNL and With Tata Docomo there is no choice for Unlimited GPRS Pack which is the most attractive thing for mobile service users towards the GPRS.

BSNL customers can use their GPRS Packs while on Roaming without any fear because with BSNL limited Data Plan one can enjoy free usage as their plan in Home circle as well as Roam in  Mumbai and Delhi MTNL Network.Beyond free usage the charges will be the same as Home Circle.Tata Docomo also allow to use its GPRS plans with in Tata Docomo's home and roam network but presently Tata Docomo network is live in limited circles so if customer Roam on other network than GPRS charges will be 10 paisa for 10KB which is 10 time higher from BSNL GPRS tariff.
