Tata Docomo Customers Can Now Access FM Channels on MobileTata Docomo has enthralled its GSM and CDMA customers with the unique Mobile Radio service.

This service is a milestone in the Industry as it offers both GSM and CDMA customers to access BIG FM and other prominent radio channels while on the move.

To subscribe to this service, customers have to dial the interactive voice portal at 505927 (free browsing) after which they will be briefed on the service and its subscription charges.

This service is available on Mobile platform for a maximum charge of Rs 10 for the next 10 days with usage up to 100 minutes which includes no advertisement breaks.

Tata Docomo Mobile Radio service is currently available in 11 regional languages, enables customers to enjoy a wholesome music experience even while on the move.

@DEBJYOTI ROY It’ll be useful for people who move out of their native & work in some other cities, and in all cities FM channels are available only in the Local Language or Hindi.. So if I’m from TN I can enjoy Tamil songs even when I’m in UP or Bihar.. Moreover, FM stations cover only main cities… If available on mobile anyone can listen to FM anywhere… Instead of charging the users, the operators can make tie up with FM stations, so that, users can listen to the FM with ADs (as usual)… Since there will be more listeners… Read more »

Why we go for mobile radio. In the real world most of the mobile user has in-built radio player. Of course it comes with advertisement. But free service is better.

A similar service was already live in Docomo.. Docomo User could listen to Radio Mirchi on his handset.
