Tata Communications Appoints David Wirt as Its Global Head For Managed ServicesTata Communications today announced that it has appointed David Wirt as its Global Head of Managed Services. The fast growing Managed Services business is strategically important to Tata Communications as the company expands from its traditional wholesale voice and IP business into enterprises solutions. Based in Singapore , David will take charge of Managed Services’ commercial business and data center engineering and operations, as well as the outsourcing business of Tata Communications.

David Wirt joins Tata Communications with more than 23 years of experience in the Systems Integration and Managed Services domains, and brings a strong background in business process consulting, outsourcing, application and infrastructure management across industries. Recently as the Vice President & Managing Director of Greater China & Korea with EDS, David had full P&L responsibility for the business in Greater China & Korea . Prior to this, David held the position of COO and Vice President of Global Services for Asia, where he oversaw a large organization and had responsibility for all aspects of service delivery and quality assurance for EDS operations and services across Asia .Mr.David has also worked as Business Development Director, Applications & Infrastructure Manager and Systems Engineering Manager at EDS USA’s hi-tech manufacturing business.
