Indian smartphone brand, Swipe has launched yet another entry-level smartphone under the company’s popular Elite range of devices. The new smartphone is dubbed as Swipe Elite 4G, which offers 4G LTE & VoLTE connectivity at a price point of Rs. 3,999.

Swipe is highlighting the Corning Gorilla Glass protected display in the smartphone because most of the devices in this price bracket don’t come with any screen protection. The Elite 4G is available in three colour options- black, grey, and gold.
Coming to the hardware specs of the smartphone, it has a 5-inch FWVGA display. As said earlier, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass technology. The Swipe Elite 4G is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, which is unspecified at the moment. The chipset is accompanied with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 64GB.
The Swipe Elite 4G has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, coupled with a 5MP front-facing camera. The smartphone is backed by a 2500mAh battery and comes preinstalled with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Talking about the launch of new ELITE 4G, Mr Shripal Gandhi, founder & CEO of Swipe said, “India is fast migrating to 4G as the cost of data is becoming affordable. India will be truly empowered only when every common man of the economy will be able to avail the benefit of the revolution that is under way in the field of mobile communications. With the government pushing the use of mobile phones for financial transactions and other associated benefits, not having a smartphone is not a choice anymore.”
