Spice Devices, the Transsion Holdings brand has announced its first Android Go smartphone in India. Dubbed as the Spice F311, it’s also the first Android Go smartphone to offer an 18:9 display and also comes with a hardware key for enabling quick access to social media apps. Spice did not reveal the colour options of the smartphone but confirmed that the device would be available for purchase at Rs 5,599. Spice also confirmed that the smartphone would be sold in the offline market and that too only in key markets. Spice will also be offering one-year replacement warranty for the smartphone.

Spice F311 specifications and Features
Transsion Holdings is looking to grab a decent market share in the Indian smartphone market within this year. The Spice F311 rocks a 5.45-inch display carrying a resolution of 480 x 960 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. The screen has a pixel density of 196 PPI. The smartphone is powered by an unspecified quad-core MediaTek SoC with all the four cores clocked at 1.1GHz. Graphics in the smartphone will be taken care by Mali-T720 MP1 GPU.
Spice has added 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage inside the smartphone. The storage can be further expanded up to 32GB with a microSD card. This dual-SIM smartphone comes loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) out of the box. For the unaware, Android Go is a lightweight version of Android. There are other smartphones such as Nokia 1, Lava Z50 and Micromax Bharat Go running Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition).
