Spectra Basic Broadband Plan of Rs 999 Launched With 100 Mbps Speeds and Carry Forward Facility

Spectra has introduced a Basic broadband plan priced at Rs 999, which joins the other three broadband plans of the company. Spectra has its wired broadband operations spread across popular cities such as Bengaluru, Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai and so on. In Delhi and Bengaluru, the company is offering 1 Gbps broadband plan, although in some locations only. So Spectra has two different sets of broadband plans with up to 100 Mbps speeds and 1 Gbps speeds. This new Spectra Basic broadband plan has been introduced in regions where the company is offering 100 Mbps plans, not the 1 Gbps broadband plan. So it’s valid across various regions in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and other regions.

Spectra Basic Broadband Plan Worth Rs 999: Benefits and FUP Limit

Spectra’s Basic Broadband plan offers up to 100 Mbps download & upload speeds. The company will be capping the FUP to 200GB per month, but it comes with Carry Forward feature. For the uninitiated, Carry Forward feature allows a user to store the current month’s unused data for next month. Airtel introduced the Data Carry Forward feature first, which is followed by Spectra and YOU Broadband. Spectra did not reveal how much maximum data a user can store in the account.

Once the FUP limit of 200GB crosses, users will still be able to enjoy 1 Mbps download and upload speeds. The monthly price of the Spectra Basic Broadband plan is Rs 999, but with taxes, the final price becomes Rs 1,359.
