Sony has been doing pretty well recently in the software update department. It has been working constantly to bring the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to as may of its devices as possible. The latest mid-rangers in the company's lineup to get the update are the Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia C3.

Sony Xperia T2 Ultra

The update for the Xperia T2 Ultra was first spotted a few weeks ago when it was undergoing certification, and now its rollout has commenced. The update is available in Czech Republic, Germany, and Taiwan as of now and the other parts of the world should get it soon enough, including India.

For the time being, the single-SIM variant with the model number D5303 is the one getting the update, while the dual-SIM variant is expected to get the same update in near future. As far as the Xperia C3 is concerned, the update is available only in Taiwan as of now and even in this case, the update is available only for the single-SIM variant with the model number D2533.

The build number post the update will be 19.3.A.0.470 with the software version being Android 5.0.2 Lollipop after it. The update brings in a host of goodies with it. Sony hasn't released an official change-log for the update  as of now.
