All these EVDO services will be dead once when 3G network is made available. Who will buy these locked hardware, but even on 3G network they might impliment a software or hardware lock. If so get an unlocked HSPA 3G data modem from ebay. I am using Huawei E122 and is impressed by it’s perf. It’s unlocked so i can use any 2G or 3G SIM to access EDGE and 3G network. Awesome!

in the unlimited BSNL EVDO 2.4MBPS plan, i heard we cannot make a voice call, is that true? What I mean to ask is specifically for calls from Skype and Yahoo, especially Calls with webcam ON on skype and yahoo, is that possible???
