Smartron t.phone P Will Now Be Available in Gold Colour

Smartron, the country’s OEM company today announced the launch of all-new Gold Edition of its budget Smartron t.phone P. Until now, the t.phone P was available in a single Black colour option, but going forward, it will be available in two colour options. The new Gold colour variant will be exclusively available on Flipkart starting on April 22. The t.phone P is one of the best budget smartphones in terms of battery life. If you’re looking for a great battery smartphone around Rs 8,000, then you should check out the t.phone P. Also, Smartron did not increase the price of the new colour option, and it’s still the same at Rs 7,999.

Furthermore, for launching the new colour variant, the brand partnered with Disco King, also known as the gold man of India, Bappi Da to reveal the #PowerOfGold for the new tphone P Gold “Sona Kahan Hai” Campaign on social media.

The highlight feature of the Smartron t.phone P is the 5000mAh battery it comes with. The battery can also be used to charge other devices such as smartphones, smart bands, speakers, etc. via OTG support.

The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC and comes with a 5.2-inch HD display with 16:9 aspect ratio. The Xiaomi Redmi 5, which is available at the similar price comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio screen. The chipset is mated to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB with a microSD card. Additionally, with the tronX integration users can additionally get a 1000 GB of free tcloud storage so that they never have to delete anything from the device.

The device boots Android Nougat out of the box and rocks a 13MP rear camera & 5MP front-facing camera. The t.phone P comes with a fingerprint sensor which is placed at the back, but it doesn’t offer the Face Unlock feature. The fingerprint scanner also allows users to take pictures and answer calls with a tap. Smartron is expected to rollout Android Oreo update to the smartphone very soon.
