Samsung India officially revealed the Android 10 roadmap to its smartphones and tablets available in the country. A total of 42 Samsung smartphones and tablets will get the Android 10-based OneUI 2.0 update in India next year. According to the information pushed via Samsung Members app, the update rollout will begin in January 2020 and it will continue all the way up to September 2020. As we reported yesterday, Samsung's high-end phones like the Galaxy S10, S10+, Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ will get the update in January itself. Other Samsung phones like the Galaxy S9, S9+, Note 9 and the newly launched A series phone are also on the list to get the update in the first month of 2020. Samsung released a plethora of smartphones in 2019 and most of them will pick up the update next year.
More Than 30 Samsung Mobile Phones Slated to Get Update in 2020
Samsung will be releasing the Android 10-based OneUI 2.0 update to a total of 42 smartphones and tablets. The list consists of several devices from different series like Galaxy Note, Galaxy S, Galaxy A, Galaxy M, Galaxy J, Galaxy On and Galaxy Tab. As expected, flagship phones from Samsung like the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ will get the update first in January 2020. It's good to see Samsung also adding the 2018 flagship phones- Galaxy S9, S9+ and the Galaxy Note 9 to the list of phones which will receive the update in January month itself. The Samsung Galaxy S10e, which is the company's affordable flagship phone this year will also get the update in January itself. Notably, Samsung will not release Android 10 update to any tablet in the month of January.

As for the other phones, all the Samsung Galaxy M and A series phones which were released in 2019 will receive the update. The list includes Galaxy M20, Galaxy M30, Galaxy M40, Galaxy A50, Galaxy A50s, Galaxy M30s, Galaxy A70, Galaxy A70s, Galaxy A10 and the Galaxy A10s will get the update before September 2020.
Older Samsung phones like the Galaxy A6, Galaxy A6+, Galaxy A7 (2018), Galaxy A9 (2018) and Galaxy A8 Star will also get the update next year. The Samsung Galaxy J6, Galaxy On6, Galaxy J6+, Galaxy J7 Duo, Galaxy J8 and Galaxy On8 will get their last update in the form of Android 10 by the end of September 2020. That said, Samsung will not update any of the Samsung Galaxy C series of phones to Android 10 which is underwhelming.
Samsung's recently launched flagship phone- the Galaxy Fold is confirmed to get the update in April 2020.
Also, the update rollout will begin in January 2020 and there will not be a single Samsung device running stable OneUI 2.0 based on Android 10 in 2019. Almost all the smartphone brands will at least have one device running Android 10 by the end of 2019, but that's not the case with Samsung though.
Samsung Tablets Which Are Confirmed to Get Android 10 Update
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 will be the first tablet in the list to get Android 10 update in April 2020. Other Samsung tablets like the Galaxy Tab S4, Tab S5e, Tab A8, Galaxy Tab A (2018) 10.5 and Galaxy Tab A 10.1 will also get the Android 10 next year. The table mentioned above details the list of Samsung phones and tablets which will get the OneUI 2.0 update based on Android 10 by the end of next year.
