Samsung unveiled their latest flagships Galaxy S9, S9+ at its Unpacked Event ahead of Mobile World Congress 2018. The company also started pre-booking for the smartphones in India soon after the announcement. Now the South Korean giant is said to officially launch the Galaxy S9 in India on March 6. Samsung has reportedly sent media invites for an event on this date in Delhi, where the new Galaxy phones will make an appearance. The company also will announce the prices for Indian market on the same day.

As for the actual release date, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will arrive on March 16 in select markets, but it remains unclear whether this date applies to India as well.
Samsung will be taking pre-orders in certain regions from March 2, while in India, pre-bookings have already started. The Galaxy S9 series has been available for pre-order on Samsung India’s official website for a token amount of Rs 2000. The pre-booking guarantees that registered users are among the first to receive the latest smartphone from Samsung.
Also, Airtel announced pre-registration for Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are open via their online store. To pre-register, interested buyers will have to visit the Airtel Online Store or install the My Airtel app.
Pre-registering ensures an invitation to purchase the device before others, Airtel claims. Notably, the pre-registration will be open until March 4. Airtel will then send you an invite to book the Samsung Galaxy S9 on the launch date.
