Samsung is gearing up for the upcoming festive season in India with two new mid-range smartphones. The South Korean smartphone brand is all-set to unveil the Galaxy J6+ and Galaxy J4+ mid-range devices in India later this month. While the company is yet to reveal the launch date, it has made a landing page live on its website which reveals key features of both the smartphones. The two upcoming Galaxy smartphones will feature True HD+ Infinity Displays, side-mounted fingerprint scanners, dual rear cameras and they’ll be available in various colour options. Furthermore, Samsung will introduce a new Animoji-like feature called Emotify with both the handsets. The Galaxy J6+ and J4+ will be successors to Galaxy J6 and J4 smartphones launched earlier this year in India.

Samsung Galaxy J6+ and J4+: Confirmed Features
Very recently, Samsung stated that it would bring some of the high-end features to its mid-range smartphones. And the first feature to trickle down to mid-range Galaxy J series is ‘Emotify,’ which might work similar to Apple’s Animoji and Samsung’s AR Emoji. A tweet from Samsung Mobile India has confirmed that both the devices will have a True HD+ Infinity Display. To recall, the Galaxy J6 (2018) and Galaxy J4 both arrived with the similar resolution displays.
Samsung is teasing the devices will arrive in ‘Infinitely Vibrant Bold Colours’ and they’ll have dual rear cameras. On the whole, Samsung is touting both the devices will be ‘Infinitely Fun’ to use.
Samsung Galaxy J6+ and J4+ to Feature Side-Mounted Fingerprint Scanners
Another feature which is being teased by Samsung is the side-mounted fingerprint scanners. Most of the smartphone brands these days are arriving with either a front-facing fingerprint scanner or a rear-mounted scanner, but Samsung is embedding the biometric scanner on the right side of Galaxy J6+ & J4+. We have seen some smartphone brands such as Sony, Nextbit, Razer adding side-mounted fingerprint scanners to their devices and Samsung is now joining the list. Not sure why Samsung is making this decision as the Galaxy J6 featured a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
