The Galaxy Grand series of mid-range phablets from Samsung were one of best-selling devices in their respective price category. The Galaxy Grand fared well and was the first large-screened mid-segment device from Samsung. The Galaxy Grand 2 was released at the end of the last year and recently a Smartphone codenamed SM-G7200 was spotted on the GFXBench which is most likely the upcoming Galaxy Grand 3.
The same device was caught online after going through the Bluetooth SIG certification. The benchmarks hint that the Galaxy Grand 3 might feature a large 5.5-inch 720p HD display, a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, Adreno 306 GPU, 1.5GB of RAM, and 16GB of onboard storage.
The Galaxy Grand 3 features a 13-megapixel primary camera with Full HD 1080p video recording, and a 5-megapixel secondary camera. The device is expected to run on Android 4.4.4 KitKat. The upgrade from its predecessor is not a quantum leap but the device will be a decent performer in the mid-segment smartphone category.
