Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) India Price Dropped by Rs 3,000, Now Retails for Rs 30,990

Samsung has been on a roll lately. The South Korean smartphone manufacturer has launched several smartphones in the last couple of months the latest ones being the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20. Samsung has been extremely focused on delivering great camera phones in 2018, one of the big examples of it is the four camera smartphones – Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018). Launched for Rs 36,990 the Galaxy A9 (2018) was a great deal for the price. The company has further reduced the Galaxy A9 (2018) India price.




To recall soon after the launch, Samsung reduced the India price of Galaxy A9 (2018) by Rs 3,000 bringing down the price of the phone to Rs 33,990. Yet again, Samsung reduces the India price of the Galaxy A9 (2018) by Rs 3,000. This means that the Galaxy A9 (2018) now sells for Rs 30,990 in the country. This is the lowest ever price that the Galaxy A9 (2018) can be purchased for. The Galaxy A9 (2018) is Samsung’s first quad rear camera or four rear camera phone. The primary camera of the phone consists of a standard sensor, the secondary camera includes a wide-angle sensor or telephoto lens, and lastly, the third camera is a depth sensor.

The price cut seems like a permanent one as the new price of Rs 30,990 has been officially listed on Samsung India’s online store. For Rs 30,990 the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is a great deal.

Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2019) Could be Heading to India

The Galaxy A9 (2018) is a very new smartphone and now that it is having frequent price drop the hint could be towards the coming of a successor phone. Rumours already suggest that the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2019) could be heading to India soon. With the rapid price drop of the Galaxy A9 (2018), it is safe to assume that the Galaxy A9 Pro (2019) could be coming to the country very soon. Samsung, however, is yet to provide official information on the launch of the Galaxy A9 Pro (2019). The Galaxy A9 Pro (2019) will come with Samsung’s Infinity-O Display has already been launched in South Korean in January for a starting price of KRW 599,500, which roughly translates to Rs 37,800).

The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) offers great value for the price of Rs 30,990. It comes with four cameras on the rear panel where the primary camera includes a 24MP sensor, the second camera includes a 10MP telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom, the third camera consists of an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and lastly, the fourth camera includes a 5MP depth sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) runs Samsung’s Experience UX based on Android Oreo and includes a 6.3-inch Full HD+ Infinity Display. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM.
