Rcom has been taking every step to ensure that its finances remain in check. In the recently concluded auction Rcom was the second lowest spender ensuring that levels of debt do not rise. This calculated sending allows it to keep its tariffs lower than its competitors who spent way more on defending their spectrum and will be passing on the cost to the subscribers in the form of tariff hikes. Rcom competes in the price sensitive market with regional operators like Uninor and Videocon and thus needs to provide low tariffs to maintain its market position.

Reliance has launched a Rs. 68 STV for Maharashtra circle which gives unlimited local reliance to reliance calling with 30 days.
