Reliance launches Rs. 68 unlimited local R-R calling voucher for Maharashtra circle

Rcom has been taking every step to ensure that its finances remain in check. In the recently concluded auction Rcom was the second lowest spender ensuring that levels of debt do not rise. This calculated sending allows it to keep its tariffs lower than its competitors who spent way more on defending their spectrum and will be passing on the cost to the subscribers in the form of tariff hikes. Rcom competes in the price sensitive market with regional operators like Uninor and Videocon and thus needs to provide low tariffs to maintain its market position.

Reliance has launched a Rs. 68 STV for Maharashtra circle which gives unlimited local reliance to reliance calling with 30 days.

For Rs. 49 you get the same benefit with a 7 day validity, while with Rs. 111 voucher you get unlimited local reliance to reliance calls for 28 days plus Rs.25 talktime for local and STD calling valid for 7 days.

In my area there is a strange problem, whenever load shedding occurs, reliance towers disappears for a few minutes. I asked retailer, he explains that here ups battery of reliance tower have been stolen long ago, so a few minutes is required to start the generator.

If anybody says Reliance has the best coverage, then it is really true that he lives merely in city limit, never visit rural areas, or, he is a business partner of Reliance. If Reliance had the good coverage, then would have won spectrum in 1800/900 MHZ both in Kolkata & West Bengal, which they did not do fearing monetory loss or, planning for winding up GSM business from Assam, Bihar, West Bengal. Reliance CDMA simply forfeited my STV 48 for all local/std/roaming call @50 paise/min for lifetime validity recharge even without any prior notice. After that they deducted Rs. 49… Read more »
