Reliance Jio recently pulled back its 'Summer Surprise' offer following TRAI's order. The company is yet to announce the discontinuation of offer officially, and Jio will most probably make an announcement today. Before that, here's another twist. Jio's official website claims that they are coming with new tariff plans.

Yes, you heard it right. Reliance Jio is in the process of revamping their tariff plans as the website states 'We are updating our tariff packs and will be soon Introducing more exciting Offers'.

Having said that, when we head over to the plans section, we can see all the previous tariff plans. For the uninitiated, the Telecom Regulator Authority of India (TRAI) recently asked the new entrant to discontinue its Summer Surprise offer as the scheme is violating the terms of conditions of the regulator.

TRAI officially said that Jio has no proper explanation regarding the Summer Surprise offer and as a result, they have urged Jio to shut down the offer.

Nevertheless, Jio did not pull back the offer immediately. Instead said that the company needs some time to discontinue the offer allowing users to recharge with the plan. Also, the Mukesh Ambani-led company quoted that the users who had enrolled into the service before the discontinuation are eligible for three months of free services.

That said, Jio can't offer promotional offers anymore as per the regulatory terms and conditions. So, the company is now coming with new tariff plans to take on the incumbent operators. If Jio comes with affordable plans, it will be another dent in the industry and the tariff war will be more intensified in coming days.

At what cost should Jio implement its tariff plans according to you? Let us know in the comments section below.
