Reliance Jio has added a free 10GB data add-on pack for select customers on its network. However, several customers are assuming that the company has added the data add-on pack on the occasion of Holi, however, we got to know that the telco is adding the data add-on pack as a token of appreciation for using the JioTV application. For the unaware, JioTV is the company's Live TV streaming application with over 550 Live TV channels. The 10GB data add-on pack will expire on March 27, 2018, for the users who received it.

That said, the addition of free add-on pack is completely an automated one, meaning some people will receive it and others may not. Nevertheless, you can try your luck by calling 1299 toll-free number to receive the 10GB add-on pack as several users on Twitter and Facebook are reporting that Jio has added 10GB free data to their account after calling the number.

You can check the data add-ons on your account by heading over to MyJio application. Normally, the 6GB data add-on pack costs Rs 101 if a customer purchases it separately. And it works on top of your existing tariff plan. For example, if you're on the Rs 149 prepaid plan, it offers 1.5GB data per day. If you complete the 1.5GB daily FUP limit, then you consume data from the 10GB add-on pack, as you might already be aware of.

This is such a good gesture from Reliance Jio, but sadly, this offer is not eligible for all the Jio customers though. However, as I stated, you can dial the 1299 toll-free number as it might give you the 10GB data benefit for free.
