Reliance Jio does it again as it tops the 4G download speed chart for the month of December 2018. Jio has changed the telecom space massively ever since it entered the market two years ago. But from then to now the download speed of Jio has dropped drastically, but that in any way hasn't snatched the topmost position from Jio. According to MySpeed portal of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai), Jio tops the 4G download speed for December despite the drop in speed. According to the report, Jio has topped the list with an average download speed of 18.7 Mbps in December. Interestingly, the number is almost double of Airtel's 4G download speed. Airtel takes the second place in the list, right after Reliance Jio. To recollect, Jio has experienced a massive drop in 4G download speed since October 2018. Well, even though the speed has reduced in reality, on papers Jio is still the topmost telecom operator with the fastest 4G download speed in India.
