
Xiaomi is going to refresh its tablet offering in India with the upcoming Redmi Pad 2 Pro. A teaser poster for the product has been revealed by the brand and we can look at the Pro moniker on that. What's cool is that this product has already been released for the global market in September 2025. So we know most of its specifications, only the pricing is unknown for the Indian market.

An exact launch timeline or date is yet to come from the brand, but the product is definitely coming to the market in the first quarter of 2026. The Redmi Pad 2 Pro will come with a 12.1-inch LCD display with support for 2.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. There is likely going to be support for 360Hz touch sampling rate as well. The screen would likely come with support for Dolby Vision and up to 600nits of peak brightness.
This tablet is likely going to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The tablet's likely going to pack a 12000mAh battery with support for 33W wired-fast-charging and 27W reverse charging. The notable features include quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, Wi-Fi 6, an optional keyboard and Stylus accessories.
