Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro Gets a New 6GB RAM and 64GB Storage Model in India, Priced at Rs 15,999

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro is now available in three variants for purchase in India. The Chinese company has brought a new 6GB of RAM variant with 64GB of internal storage priced at Rs 15,999 to the sub-continent. The first sale of the new variant alongside the other two variants will take place today at 12 PM via Flipkart and Mi.com. Even after four months of launch, the Redmi Note 7 Pro remains one of the best mid-range smartphones to purchase right now. Back in February this year, Xiaomi launched the Note 7 Pro in India globally in two variants- 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB priced at Rs 13,999 and Rs 16,999 respectively. This new variant of Note 7 Pro will take on the Realme 3 Pro which also comes in a 6GB+64GB storage option priced at the same Rs 15,999.




Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro Now Available in Three Variants in India

With this new launch, consumers can now purchase the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro in three variants- 4GB+64GB, 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB. The 4GB+64GB model is priced at Rs 13,999, the 6GB+64GB variant costs Rs 15,999, while the premium 6GB+128GB option is priced at Rs 16,999. The low-end and high-end models of the Redmi Note 7 Pro are available for purchase via Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home, Mi Preferred Partner and Mi Studio stores across the country. It seems like the newly launched 6GB+64GB variant will be available only via online portals- Mi.com and Flipkart for now.

For the unaware, the Redmi Note 7 Pro comes in three colour options- Nebula Red, Space Black and Neptune Blue. As for the new model launch offers, the Chinese company has teamed with telecom operator Bharti Airtel to provide up to 1.1TB additional 4G data on select prepaid recharges.

The specifications of the Redmi Note 7 Pro 6GB+64GB model remain the same, though. To recall, the Note 7 Pro offers a 6.3-inch Full HD+ on the front and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 Mobile Platform. It now comes in 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. The Note 7 Pro is still the cheapest phone in the market with the Sony IMX586 48MP sensor on the rear. Up front, the handset has a 13MP selfie camera for video calling. The device boots MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie and comes backed by a 4000mAh battery.

Xiaomi India to Launch Three Smartphones This Month

In other news, Xiaomi will likely launch three phones in India this month. Tomorrow, the company will be taking wraps off the Redmi 7A, which is an entry-level smartphone exclusive to Flipkart. During the second or third week of July, the brand is bringing the flagship Redmi K20 series to the Indian market. The Redmi K20 series consists of two smartphones- Redmi K20 Pro and the Redmi K20; The former is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, while the latter makes use of the all-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset. The launch date of the Redmi K20 series is yet to be officially announced by the company.
