Redmi Note 7 Pro Users in India Get New MIUI 10 Global Stable Update That Optimises System Stability

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphones in India last month. It is not even a month since the launch and the Redmi Note 7 Pro is already getting MIUI update. A new report suggests that the Redmi Note 7 Pro users in India are now getting MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM V10.2.6.0.PFHINXM update. The official changelog doesn’t reveal a lot of details, but it does suggest that the software update brings optimisation to improve system stability. Both the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro were launched running on MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie.




The company has revealed that the MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM V10.2.6.0.PFHINXM will reach all the Redmi Note 7 Pro users automatically. If you are a Note 7 Pro user in India and haven’t received the latest software update, it is recommended you head to the Settings menu, then go to About phone option and then click on the Software Update to check whether you have any pending software to be updated. If you don’t have a pending update, you’ll need to wait for some more days to get the software update hit your Redmi Note 7 Pro.

MIUI Update Brings Stability Improvement to Redmi Note 7 Pro

Xiaomi has started rolling out Android Pie-based MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM V10.2.6.0.PFHINXM to all the Redmi Note 7 Pro users in India. However, it seems the software rollout will happen in a phased manner. Based on the user reports posted on Mi Forums, the update measures 1.7GB in size, while the Fastboot ROM is around 2.2GB in size. It is recommended to backup all your data before downloading and installing the new update on your Redmi Note 7 Pro. It is also recommended that the Redmi Note 7 users must connect their phone to a Wi-Fi network before updating the new software.

MIUI 10 Beta Update for Over 10 Xiaomi Phones Released

In addition, Xiaomi has started rolling out MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM 9.3.21 to several phones from the company – both old and new. The new MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM 9.3.21 brings several fixes including notifications improvement, notch settings, and screen recording. Reportedly the MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM 9.3.21 update is rolling out to over 10 Xiaomi and Redmi.

The phones eligible to get MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM 9.3.21 update include: Redmi 4X, Mi 5s, Redmi 4A, Mi Max 2, Redmi Note 5A, Redmi Y1 Lite, Redmi Note 5A Prime, Redmi Y1, Mi 6, Mi MIX 2, Mi Note 2, Mi MIX, Mi MIX 2S, Poco F1, Mi 8, Redmi 6A, Redmi 6, Redmi 6 Pro India, Mi Max 3, Redmi 5A, Mi Note 3, Mi 5s Plus, Mi 8 Pro, Redmi Note 6 Pro, Mi 8 Lite, Mi MIX 3. Additionally, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer includes that the MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM 9.3.21 will be delayed for some phones like Redmi 5 and Mi 9 due to errors.

According to changelog the MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM 9.3.21 update brings fixes to errors that occurred after unlocking the select device in landscape mode, adds an option for smoothening notch curves on full-screen devices, fixes issues related to face unlock, among other things. The update also brings Game Turbo support.
