Realme 3i and Realme X Smartphones Launched in India, Prices Start at Rs 7,999

Since the last year, Realme has become a big name when it comes to budget and mid-range smartphones. The brand has launched some highly successful phones like the Realme 3 Pro which has competed with the likes of Xiaomi and other budget segment leaders. However, Realme has now decided to take a leap with the launch of Realme X. The device manufacturer, in an event held in Delhi today has lauched two devices – the Realme 3i and the Realme X. While the Realme 3i is a budget segment smartphone, living the Realme legacy, the Realme X is a device which comes with a bigger price tag and hence more features, better design among other quirks. In this event, Realme has also announced the launch of its accessories.




Realme 3i Specifications and Prices

The budget segment offering from Realme, the Realme 3i features a 6.2-inch HD+ display, and it comes clad in Gorilla Glass 3 lending it protection. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 processor. On the software front, the phone runs Android Pie-based Color 6.0, and it comes in two variants of 3GB RAM +32GB storage and 4GB RAM +64GB storage. Both of these variants with the option of expandable storage up to 256GB. As for the camera, the device sports 13MP and 2MP shooter with a 5P lens. Whereas, for selfies, there is a 13MP camera on the front. The battery on this device is a 4,230mAh pack.

Some of the other features of the Realm 3i boasted by the company include the diamond cut design, night scape, and Chroma boost. The Realme 3i will retail for Rs 7,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, whereas it will be available for Rs 9,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The phone will go for the first sale on July 23, 2019, at 12 noon of Flipkart and Realme official website.

Realme X Specifications and Pricing 

The Realme X sports a Super AMOLED display with a 91.2% screen-to-body ratio and it comes with a pop-up selfie camera. On the rear side, the phone sports vertically oriented dual rear camera setup, and it comes in two colour variants including the Space Blue and Polar White, which is the first white phone from Realme. The rear panel also sports an S-shaped light curve. The supposedly premium offering from Realme, the Realme X comes with Snapdragon 710 which has been built on the 10nm process and is accompanied by Adreno 616 GPU. Paired with this is a 4GB or 8GB RAM depending on the variant.

The Realme X will also come with an in-display fingerprint sensor with compensated lighting, and the phone supports Dolby Atmos as well. On the camera front, the phone sports a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with 1.6-micron pixel size and a 6P lens. This sensor is paired with a 5MP depth sensor. The phone also enables the Cam2 API from the beginning. Also, in terms of various modes, the phone comes with Night Scape and Chroma boost, which has been claimed to be better than standard HDR. On the front, there is a 16MP Sony IMX 471 sensor for selfies which enables pixel binning.

On the software front, the Realme X will boot Android Pie based ColorOS 6, and it packs a 3,765mAh battery with a VOOC 3.0 20W charger which comes in the box itself. Realme has announced the price of the 4GB+128GB variant of the phone as Rs 16,999 and the 8GB+128GB price as Rs 19,999. Additionally, the brand is launching a Master Edition in Onion and Garlic colours at Rs 19,999 and a Spiderman Far from Home special edition gift box at Rs 20,999. The phone will go live for sale on July 24, 2019, at 12 noon on Flipkart and Realme official website with a special sale happening on July 18, 2019, at 8 PM.
