RBI RULE TO IMPACT ONLINE MOBILE RECHARGES AND BILL PAYMENTS

 RBI-MOBILE-RECHARGES-BILL-PAYMENTSThe Reserve Bank Of India (RBI) has taken note of the fact that credit card users still continue to fall prey to online fraud every day. In order to control online this fraud, it has introduced a new step whenever an online transaction is done.
* 16 Digit Credit Card Number
* Credit Card Expiry Date
* 3-digit CVV number
* NEW: Card to be enrolled with VERIFIED BY VISA (VBV) or Mastercard Secure COde (MSC)

This new 4th step would be required from 1st August 2009 for all mobile users when they try to recharge their account or pay their bills online.




Without the VBV or MSC the transaction will not get completed.

HOW TO REGISTER YOUR CARD CARD? Its quite simple really. One needs to contact their bank, and the same can be done online.HURRY and Register your card for VBV or MSC with your bank.STAY PROTECTED in all your online RECHARGES & BILL PAYMENTS !
