PUBG Mobile 0.9.0 Update: New Features You Need to Know
On the official Discord channel of Tencent games, the developer of PUBG Mobile, a document was posted which said that the Erangel map would “alternate between day and night randomly in Classic Mode”. Further, Erangel would also get Night Vision Goggles, new buildings, covers, and more trees.
The new Spectator mode in PUBG mobile will allow the players to watch opponents after they have been killed. With Halloween just days ahead, Spawn Island has also been given a makeover with lots of Halloween themed additions like pumpkins and candies. Further, now the players killed by Hellfire-AKM will turn into scarecrows, and the grenade will trigger a scary face. The main menu of the game has also been revamped to come with Halloween theme.
You Can Now Control Brightness Manually
There are also some tweaks in the settings section as well, and players will be now able to turn on a toggle which will let them quickly switch between scopes, set game brightness, or customise buttons for specific actions. There is also a new ‘movie’ picture style to PUBG Mobile as part of the 0.9.0 update. However, Tencent hasn’t detailed about what that means right now.
There are new customisable outfits as part of in-app purchases which will grant players the option to choose colours and logos before purchasing. The revamped Pass page makes it “more convenient to view the weekly missions and collect weekly mission rewards”.
There are also some performance improvements which will correct “lagging issues when players encounter other players from afar”. Many players have said that this might be a correction to the rendering lag which came as the part of PUBG Mobile 0.8.0 update.
