BSNL has just made an announcement regarding 15105 being the short code for postal complaint department from here on throughout the nation. A notice has been issued by BSNL regarding opening of the short code “15105” to all states and UTs for Postal Complaint Department of Post , Govt of India.
From now on, the postal code 15105 will be opened in in all Local Exchanges, TDM Tax, IP TAX, Soft switches, Mobile MSC, GMSC, WLL MSC of the telecom circles and mapped with the termination number (STD code+ termination number) of every circle. The termination number can be obtained from the concerned authority. Also, the “STD Code + 15105” will be opened for inter-circle calls.
Private Operators will further be requested to open 15105 and ‘STD code + 15105’ in their switches and route it to BSNL as per the current outgoing guidelines regarding the same. Calls from the private operators will be charged as per the inter-connect agreement.
