Oppo is re-entering the flagship market space with the Find X smartphone later this month. Ahead of the launch, the Chinese company is teasing the smartphone heavily and is also revealing interesting details about the handset. The Oppo Find X, which is said to be a flagship smartphone is now confirmed to come with top-of-the-line Snapdragon 845 chipset, which will work in tandem with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The handset will go official on June 19 at a special event in Paris, post which Oppo is expected to bring it to the Indian market. Back in 2014, Oppo launched its flagship smartphones under Find series in India and Oppo is already teasing the Find X launch in India.
Oppo has already confirmed the phone to have a 5x zoom camera, VOOC fast charging and the phone is all about 'Beauty.' Coming to Oppo's 5x zoom technology, the camera module will be just 5.7mm in thickness, which means the phone will not have huge camera bump. Oppo showcased this technology back at the MWC 2017 event last year. This technology will offer 3x optical zoom and 2x digital zoom, which combinedly makes up for 5x zoom. The Find X will be the first smartphone to use this technology.
Moving onto the Oppo's VOOC charging technology, it's capable of charging a 2500mAh battery unit in 15 minutes. Furthermore, the Oppo Find X is said to have an 18:9 display on the front and that too a massive 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Samsung-made panel.
Besides the display, the Find X is said to sport a 25MP selfie camera and dual rear cameras of 20MP & 16MP sensors. The phone is expected to be backed by a 3645mAH battery, which coupled with the Snapdragon 845 SoC will deliver a full day's worth of battery life.
The launch event is set for June 19 during which we'll find more details about the smartphone.
