OPPO has come with yet another smartphone in the F1 series, dubbed as the F1s. Like OPPO's earlier camera-centric phones, the F1s also comes with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with 5P lens and f/2.0 aperture for selfie lovers. The device will be up for sale at Rs. 17,990 in Gold and Grey colour options. In India, it will go on pre-ordering from August 4 to August 10. Also, from August 11, it will continue proper sale in physical stores across Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Ghaziabad, Trivandrum, Bhopal, Ludhiana, Gurgaon, and Ahmedabad. For online buyers, the F1s will be exclusively available via Amazon.in
The OPPO F1s comes with a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 64-bit processor with Mali T860 GPU. Sadly, the device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with ColorOS 3.0 on top, which comes up as a drawback for the F1s. There is a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, 1/3.06-inch sensor and f/2.2 aperture onboard. It also has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, PDAF, 1/3.06-inch sensor and f/2.2 aperture.
The device also boasts a fingerprint sensor on the front (embedded into the Home button), which is touted to unlock the phone in just 0.22 seconds and it can also be used to open apps quickly.
