Though OnePlus has not confirmed the Indian launch date, the report could turn out to be true. A report earlier indicated the OnePlus 6 would go official in China on May 5. OnePlus also confirmed that it would keep up with latest Android design trends and come sporting like iPhone-X like screen notch design. The company CEO Pete Lau revealed that users would also have the option to hide the screen notch by blacking out the sides of the screen when in landscape mode.

Earlier, OnePlus had confirmed the flagship was to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. Reports have indicated that the OP6 will launch in two variants similar to the older OnePlus 5T. The cheaper variant will come with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, while the high-end version will sport hefty 8GB RAM along with 128GB of storage. Both the models are expected to hit Indian markets but the phone will Amazon exclusive as always.
