OnePlus 6 has been the prodigy smartphone by the Chinese manufacturer OnePlus which has made it the number one premium phone company in India right now. Now reports have come up which point towards the direction of OnePlus 6 receiving a new Android 9 Pie update via an OxygenOS Beta package.

Android Pie OxygenOS Beta Update to Be Released Next Week
It is worth noting that OnePlus released the Android Pie based update for the Chinese counterpart of the OxygenOS, HydrogenOS last week only. If OnePlus is to follow the trend, then it can be said that the Android Pie based OxygenOS Beta update will be pushed to the users this week only. The OnePlus 6 will be the obvious first choice for this update, and then on, the update is expected to follow to other devices like OnePlus 5, OnePlus 5T, OnePlus 3T, and the OnePlus 3.

OnePlus 6 is the first smartphone by the brand to feature a notch design, and it also became the most successful device by the company till date. The device features an AMOLED display measuring 6.28-inches diagonally with 1080 x 2280 Full HD+ resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, DCI-P3 colour space coverage, and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. In terms of performance, the phone fares amazingly well owing to the top-notch octa-core 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 AIE processor clocked at 2.8 GHz paired with Adreno 630 GPU for graphics. The phone retails in a total of three configurations – 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. Staying true to the tradition, OnePlus 6 doesn’t come with an option to expand memory using a microSD card.
