OnePlus is expected to unveil Android 5.0 Lollipop-based OxygenOS tomorrow, but it looks like OnePlus has started seeding one more Android 4.4 KitKat-based software update. The update carries version number XNPH05Q, which was officially announced by OnePlus a couple of days ago, and comes with a lot of bug fixes and usability enhancements. As far as new features are concerned, this OTA update brings MaxxAudio sound enhancements, Swiftkey keyboard, and Blacklist in the dialler.
The XNPH50Q, which replaces XNPH44S, brings updated NFC configurations as well as media codecs (with WMA and AAC codecs enabled). According to one of readers from India, who sent us this screenshot, he update the software manually as Cyanogen had announced earlier that it won’t push OTA software updates to OnePlus Ones in India. You can download the update from the company’s official website and have a look at the instructions of how to install it manually.
