Is OnePlus Launching a New Matte Black Color Variant of the OnePlus 3T Today?

OnePlus, the not so new company recently launched a Colette variant of the OnePlus 3T in Paris, and that was the super limited edition till date we have seen on any phone. OnePlus just had 250 units of the Colette version of the phone. The company is now teasing a new color variant of the OnePlus in its homeland China and is touted to release it in next 24 hours.


OnePlus, in the Chinese microblogging site, Weibo teasing a new color variant of the phone and that’ surely not the Colette variant because the teaser doesn’t have Colette branding. That said, OnePlus will be launching a new color variant of the OnePlus 3T due to the overwhelmed response to the Colette edition and increased craze for Matte Black colored phones in recent times.

OnePlus won’t be changing the innards of the phone, though. Currently, there’s no information on whether the company is planning to bring this new colour variant to India or not. However, considering their success in the market, they should bring the new coloured edition to India.

OnePlus, ever since the release of OnePlus 3T has been timely delivering software updates to their phones. The Chinese company released the Oxygen 4.1.0 update based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat for both OnePlus 3T and OnePlus 3, just a couple of days ago and is gradually rolling out to all the users across the world.
