OnePlus 7 Updated to OxygenOS 9.5.8 With August Android Security Patch and Other Quirks

The penultimate flagship device from OnePlus in the market right now, that is the OnePlus 7 is likely the most popular device from the Chinese manufacturer after the OnePlus 7 Pro. As we are knocking our way into August, OnePlus 7 users have also started receiving the new update which brings the August 2019 Android Security Patch onboard the phone. Initially, a small subset of OnePlus 7 users will be receiving the update, and then it will be followed by a broader rollout. If you decide to go ahead with the installation of the update, then it is recommended that you do so over a stable and fast Wi-Fi connection and while your phone is appropriately charged.
