OnePlus’ next flagship has become the talk of the town already. The next OnePlus phone will undoubtedly succeed the last one from the company – OnePlus 6T – and hence may be called OnePlus 7. In 2019 the company seems to have some new plans. Instead of two phones a year OnePlus will be launching three devices this year including the OnePlus 5G phone. However, in India like always the standard versions may come. The two OnePlus phones that may launch in India this year may be OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T. The company is yet to confirm the devices.

The first phone from OnePlus that will launch in India is expected to be the OnePlus 7. Following the track record, the OnePlus 7 may launch in another two-three months in the country. Ahead of the launch rumours and leaks about the OnePlus 7 are flooding the internet already. A lot had already been talked about the OnePlus 7, like its pop-up selfie camera, glass body, no 3.5mm headphone jack, no wireless charging, improved OxygenOS, Snapdragon 855, Android 9 Pie and so much more. Let’s have a look at everything we know about the OnePlus 7 so far.

Design and Display

The biggest change that the OnePlus 7 will see is in the design. Like some of the latest Vivo and Oppo phones, the OnePlus 7 is rumoured to come with pop-up selfie camera. As renders and live images suggest the pop-up camera on the OnePlus 7 will sit in the top-middle of the phone. With the pop-up camera onboard it is assured that the OnePlus 7 will not include any kind of notch on the display which means no distraction while watching videos or playing games. As of the display, the OnePlus 7 is said to sport a bigger display of 6.5-inches with Full HD+ AMOLED panel on top.

Hardware and Software

The OnePlus 7 is confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 855 processor. The last OnePlus phone aka OnePlus 6T had come with Snapdragon 845 chipset. This means compared to the predecessor the OnePlus 7 will be much powerful. For the OnePlus 7 the company will possibly use the X24 modem while the OnePlus 5G will use X50 modem. Rumours suggest that the top-end model of the OnePlus 7 may come packed with 10GB RAM and 256GB storage. On the software front, the OnePlus 7 is said to run Android 9 Pie based on latest version of OxygenOS.

Camera

The upcoming handset will see a major camera improvement. The phone is rumoured to come with a triple camera set up on the back panel and single pop-up selfie camera on the front. Renders suggest that the OnePlus 7 will sit on the centre of the top edge of the smartphone. The pop-up will help to not only click selfies but also perform as face unlock. On the rear the main camera of the OnePlus 7 is expected to be a 48MP sensor, the second camera may a 20MP sensor dedicated for low-light shots, and the third will be a depth 5MP sensor for portrait shots.

Other Features

The OnePlus 7 may come with a 4000mAh battery bundled with Dash charger. Recently OnePlus CEO Pete Lau denied rumours of OnePlus 7 coming with wireless charging support. He said that OnePlus would not bring wireless charging support until the company sees the need for it.
