OnePlus teases soft gold color variant of the OnePlus 3, expected to launch soon

OnePlus recently teased another colour option for its latest flagship, the OnePlus 3. The teaser made its way on a Chinese website, Weibo. The teased Soft Gold colour option could be an ideal pick for the ones who want a flashier outlook. The company has not yet revealed availability and pricing details for the version yet.

To recap, at the time of launching the OnePlus 3, the makers promised two color options. However, ever since its debut, the device is available in Graphite Gray color option. The hardware and everything else is most likely to remain the same on the Soft Gold variant, except for the color.

One of the major highlights of the device is the 6GB of RAM clubbed with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 chipset (two cores clocked at 2.2GHz, and two cores clocked at 1.6GHz) and Adreno 530 GPU. The device features a 5.5-inch display 1080p display with Optic AMOLED paired with Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It also has a USB 2.0 Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The fingerprint scanner on the device is embedded under the Home button.
