OnePlus 2 is nearing launch and with time company is bringing out more and more details about the highly anticipated flagship. In the latest information giveaway, OnePlus revealed through a social media post that the flagship will boast a Type C USB connector.

The company further stated that OnePlus 2 will be the ‘first flagship device to use the latest Type C connector’, OnePlus has gone a tad too far with this statement, as the title of ‘first ever smartphone with Type-C USB connector’ is already taken by a Chinese manufacturer, LeTV’s One Max smartphone. However, OnePlus will definitely be the first one in the segment of premium brands to have introduced the technology in its forthcoming flagship.

Enough information about the OnePlus 2 is already making rounds in the tech world and with the latest info, OnePlus 2 surely has got many fans waiting to for it to launch. Until now, the company has revealed much information about the forthcoming device, such as It will feature an improved version of Snapdragon 810 chipset and will be retailing at a price of about $322 (approx. INR 20,540). Other leaked information is, 5.5-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, 3GB of RAM, Android 5.1 Lollipop, 16MP rear camera along with a 5MP front camera.

There is no information about the launch date for the flagship, but as per reports, it might shed the veil sometime early next month.
