OnePlus is continuing its tradition of revealing one feature at a time of the OnePlus 2. There have been rumours going around for a while that the OnePlus 2 will feature 4GB of RAM and now OnePlus has confirmed the same as well. OnePlus has just announced through its forums that the OnePlus One which is due for a launch on July 27th will come with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM.

The fact that it is an LPDDR4 RAM means that it offers twice the bandwidth as its LPDDR3 counterpart while using the same amount of power. In simpler terms, multitasking will become a breeze and will allow for easier switching between apps. The OnePlus 2 will get a Snapdragon 810 chipset under the hood clocked at 1.8GHz.

We can expect the OnePlus 2 to be quite the performer seeing the fact that it will get a powerful chipset with 4GB of RAM. It won't burn a hole in anybody's pocket either as it has been confirmed that it will be priced below the $450 mark. It will further feature a USB Type-C connector port. There will be a fingerprint sensor at the rear which the company is claiming that it is faster than Apple's TouchID. OnePlus is one of the most awaited handsets off-late and will be everybody's centre of attraction when it gets launched through a virtual reality event.

OnePlus has said that this is the last announcement from the company till the launch takes place.
