OnePlus 15R will soon launch in India. The company has confirmed that the launch will happen on December 17, 2025. It has now been confirmed by the brand that the phone will come with a 7400mAh battery. Along with that, the device will feature a 165Hz 1.5K AMOLED display to make the device a great proposition for customers in 2026.
The OnePlus 15R's massive 7400mAh battery will be supported by 80W SUPERVOOC fast-charging. It will retain over at least 80% capacity even after four years, said the brand. OnePlus said that the OnePlus 15R can record in 120 frames per second at 4K resolution. It will serve as the brand's ultimate true value flagship.

OnePlus said that it worked with Qualcomm over 24 months to ensure that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 would be a perfect fit inside the device. Globally, the OnePlus 15R will be the first phone to feature this chipset. The 165Hz 1.5K AMOLED display on the phone will come with support for 1800nits of peak brightness and can go down to 2 nits by default or 1 nit with Reduce White Point activated. The phone's display will come with TUV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care 2.0 certification.
