Nubia is looking to become a regular player in the Indian smartphone market. Every month, the company is launching at least two smartphones in the country and the latest entrant is the Nubia Z17 mini- a stripped down variant of the flagship Nubia Z17, announced recently at the Computex 2017 event.

The Nubia Z17 mini comes with decent specifications on paper and also carries a steeper price tag. Let’s take a close look at what Nubia Z17 mini offers.
Design and Display
The Nubia Z17 mini looks just like any other Nubia smartphone in the market with a unimetal body design, chamfered edges, and rounded capacitive home key below the display, which makes the device look premium. The handset measures just 7.45mm in thickness and weigh 155 grams.
Coming to the display, the Z17 mini sports a 5.2-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels, further resulting in a pixel density of 424 PPI. The display is layered with a 2.5D curved glass on top and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass technology.
Processor and RAM
The Nubia Z17 mini was launched in China in April 2017 in two RAM variants- 4GB of RAM and 6GB of RAM. However, Nubia launched only 4GB RAM variant in India. The Z17 mini comes equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset. The phone has 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 200GB via microSD card slot.

Camera
The highlight of the Nubia Z17 mini is its rear camera. The phone comes with two 13MP shooters at the back. One sensor captures monochrome shots, while with other sensor shoots RGB shots. The standard 13MP sensor is a Sony IMX258 sensor, paired with f/2.2 aperture, Optical Image Stabilisation, and can record 4K videos as well. Up front, the phone has a 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture.
