The new variant is listed on the company's official website with no information regarding the availability and pricing. As the name itself suggests, the Nokia 3310 4G variant comes with support for 4G LTE and VoLTE functionality. Unlike the earlier two Nokia 3310 versions, the Nokia 3310 4G variant offers different specifications. The design of the feature phone is different too, but it still has the good-old Nokia phones look and comes in different colour options- sky blue, black, and yellow.

Specifications wise, the Nokia 3310 4G variant offers a 2.4-inch display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. There's no info on the processor used by HMD to power the phone, but it might be a dual-core processor. However, what we know is the phone comes in two variants- 256MB and 512MB RAM variants. Like the earlier two models, HMD has added a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 64GB.

At the back of the phone, we get a 2MP rear camera along with support for an LED flash. The device boots YunOS and also has support for a web browser, which can be accessed by long-pressing the '0' key on the device.

The major difference of this new variant, when compared to earlier two models, is the support for additional connectivity options. The Nokia 3310 4G version comes with support for 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot functionality, and Bluetooth. There's a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM Radio, and MP3 Player preinstalled on the phone.

For now, the 4G variant is listed in a single SIM option, but HMD might launch a dual-SIM version of the feature phone as well. The phone is backed by a 1200mAh battery, and as per the website, the phone delivers up to five hours of talk time on the 4G network and 15 hours of talk time on the 2G network.

This Nokia 3310 4G variant will surely launch in India, but the launch date is unknown at the moment. The Nokia 3310 2G variant was launched in India for Rs 3,310, so expect the 4G variant to be priced around Rs 5,000. Also, for launching this feature phone in India, HMD might join hands with Reliance Jio and launch it with attractive 4G offers.
