Nokia, the world’s leading mobile phone manufacturer, has topped the prestigious Brand Equity “Most Trusted Brands” (MTB) Survey for the 2nd consecutive year. The survey, which was conducted by The Nielsen Company, is the largest, most diverse and most prestigious survey of its kind, with over 8,000 respondents nation-wide. The ‘Brand Equity’ Survey was held for the 6th year.
The results of the survey were announced on 16th August evening in Mumbai, at a ceremony which was attending by representatives of all leading brands across the country.
Other winners include: Colgate (2nd place) and Lux (3rd place).In TELECOM, some of the players who have moved up include: Airtel, BSNL, Vodafone with each of them featuring in the TOP 30 list – they ranked 12, 19 and 30 respectively.
