Nokia Started Selling Smartphones and Accessories Through its Online Store in India

The Nokia brand in efforts to come back to one of its favourite markets is selling smartphones through its official website. HMD Global, the Finnish licensee of the Nokia lately has opened its online mobile store in India. Users can now directly buy the smartphones from the official website. The Nokia online store currently lists a number of smartphones and feature phones as well as accessories. The webpage mentions free shipping and secure payment options. In addition, there is a 10-day return policy that company says, is “subject to seller terms.”

Notably, the Nokia official website has listed all of the smartphones and feature phones in the Indian market, though not all of them are for sale. Only the Nokia 5, Nokia 3, Nokia 2 and Nokia 8 are eligible at this point. The Nokia 6 is not available for buying even though it’s price has been listed.

The website has also listed the latest additions to the Nokia family including the flagship Nokia 8 Sirocco, the Nokia 7 Plus, the new Nokia 6 (2018) and the budget Nokia 1.

Also, most Nokia feature phones including Nokia 3310 Dual SIM, Nokia 150 Dual SIM, Nokia 105, Nokia 105 Dual SIM, Nokia 230 Dual SIM, Nokia 216 Dual SIM and Nokia 130 Dual SIM are available to purchase. However, only the recently launched retro phone, the Nokia 8810 4G is not available for purchase.

In the accessory department, there are a number of options like earphones, cases and covers, car charger and USB cable. Of these only few are available for purchase, but unfortunately, none of these are in stock. So you cannot technically buy any accessories from the online store.

The latest news comes amid reports of HMD Global planning to open official Nokia India Mobile Shops in the country. This is certainly the first step towards reviving the sales of the popular brand once again in the region.

Meanwhile, Nokia is planning to launch the newly unveiled smartphones such as Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 8 Sirocco and Nokia 7 Plus in April. So in upcoming most of these phones will available via their official website itself. The company also plans to launch the Nokia 8110 4G phone in collaboration with Reliance Jio in May.

Nokia should make a Redmi Note 5 pro competitor with a snapdragon 636 and 2CA along with similar specs, with USB Type C, Quick Charge 3, and an audio DAC in the phone for 19k. People will rush to buy it, and Xiaomi will be left in the dust xD

Won’t happen ever!!!!! Nokia 6 (2018) will be with 630 for 18000 for 4GB and 64GB!!!!! Nokia 7 Plus for 22000 for 4GB and 64GB with 660 and 6GB and 64/128GB for 25000!!!!!

Hope Nokia will be No 1 brand again soon

Unless they start using latest chipsets under 20k price range, I’m probably not jumping ship from Xiaomi. Would absolutely love stock Android and speedy updates over MIUI though
