HMD Global’s mid-range smartphone, the Nokia 7 is now likely to launch in the global market in early 2018. The Nokia 7, so far is exclusive to the Chinese market since its launch in October 2017. HMD officials at the launch of Nokia 2 in India also confirmed that the Nokia 7 would be limited to China for some time. It is likely that the company will make the Nokia 7 global at the MWC 2018 event.

If you recall, the Nokia 6 was launched in China in January 2017, and HMD made the Nokia 6 global at the MWC 2017 event. Hopefully, the same might happen this year as well. The Nokia 7 features decent hardware for a mid-range smartphone, and it’s also the company’s first smartphone with a glass body.
The Nokia 7 early 2018 global launch is reported by Android Headlines, and the report also added that a recently spotted Nokia device with model number- TA-1041 is indeed the international variant of the Nokia 7. HMD Global is eying for a big 2018, and the company is reportedly looking to launch four smartphones on January 19 in China- Nokia 9, Nokia 8 (2018), Nokia 6 (2018), and Nokia E41 feature phone.
The Nokia 7 sports a metal frame and glass back, and it even features Nokia’s trademark design. The Nokia 7 has a fingerprint scanner placed on its back, which again is a first for any Nokia phone under HMD Global.
