Nokia 225 Dual SIM feature phone launched for Rs 3,199

Nokia has forever been the leader of the feature phone segment and it continues to launch its budget feature phones in India. The latest launch in the Nokia 225 in  dual SIM guise which has been launched at a price of Rs 3,199 after it was showcased last month. Here's a list of its specifications:

  • 2.8-inch  QVGA LCD display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels
  • Nokia Series 30+ OS
  • 2MP rear camera, no front camera
  • Dust and Splash proof keymat
  • MicroSD card support upto 32GB
  • Dual SIM (GSM+GSM), 2G, USB 1.1, USB mass storage, Slam and Bluetooth 3.0
  • Expandable memory up to 32GB with micro SD
  • 1200 mAh battery which offers a standby time of 27 days and a talk time of 21 hours
  •  Red, yellow, black, green and white colours (green isn't available for the time being)

The Nokia 225 Dual SIM comes preloaded with a slew of applications and games such as  Facebook, Twitter, Block Breaker 3, Asphalt 6, Assassins Creed 3, The Avengers and Real Football 2012. Nokia is also offering some launch offers with it. You get 100 free Airtel to Airtel Minutes, 400 free National SMS and 50 MB free Data for 1 month and the same is applicable for the next month too on a recharge of Rs 50. It is meant for new Airtel users who have activated an Airtel connection in the past 30 days. The offer is valid till 30th of June 2014.
