Nokia 220 4G Feature Phone Announced With Radio and Games Support

Although Nokia has pivoted towards a totally different market image after being led by HMD Global, there is nothing to deny the fact that there is something nostalgic about the brand especially when it comes to Indian buyers. Even now, Nokia continues its legacy of feature phones by launching models like the banana phone. Now, in a new move, Chief Product Officer of HMD Global has announced two new phones which are the Nokia 220 4G and the Nokia 105, the festival phone. The executive took to Twitter and uploaded two videos accompanying the announcement of these two phones. Here are all the details about the Nokia 220 4G and the new Nokia 105.

Nokia 220 4G Details

As the name of the phone suggests, this time with the Nokia 220, the brand has put an emphasis on the 4G network connectivity and calling. Also, the design of the phone bears an uncanny resemblance to the past model of Nokia 220, and for the fans of the brand, it will be easy to recognise the device. The phone comes with a polycarbonate body and will be available in colours like black and blue. Nokia has also noted the features on this device which includes Radio, camera and gaming. The games on the phone would include classic Snake game plus try-and-buy games such as Ninja UP!, Sky Gift, Nitro Racing and Tetris.

The dimensions of the Nokia 220 4G

are 121.3 x 52.9 x 13.4mm, and it comes with Feature OS as its software platform. The RAM on the device is 16MB, and it comes with a 2.4-inch QQVGA screen. This device has been said to deliver a standby time of up to 27 days and talk time of up to 6.3 hours courtesy of a 1200mAh battery.

Nokia 105 Details

Similar to the Nokia 220 4G, the Nokia 105 will also bear a strong resemblance to the previous Nokia 105 which was available to the buyers. The Nokia 105 has been teased in three colours of black, pink and purple on the Nokia official website. Also, Nokia has noted that this phone will come with the capacity of 2,000 contacts and space for storing up to 500 SMS. The Nokia 105 will also boast of features like Gaming, Radio flashlight. In comparison to the Nokia 220 4G, this phone will not come with a camera or 4G support. Nokia has termed this phone as the Nokia “festival phone”.

The dimensions of the Nokia 105 are 119 x 49.2 x 14.4mm, and it comes with Nokia Series 30+ software platform with 4MB RAM. The display size is 1.77-inch, and the screen type is QQVGA. The phone comes with a micro-USB port for charging, and it is slated to give a talk time of 14.4 hours and a standby time of 25.8 hours, courtesy of an 800mAh battery.
