The Motorola Moto G5s Plus has been constantly going through the rumour mill since the last couple of months. Two weeks ago, a bunch of images alleged to be the Moto G5s Plus smartphone had surfaced online. The leaked images gave us a close-up look of the front and rear of the device.
After a short gap with no news on the handset, we spotted a new leak today. Evan Blass, a trusted leakster, put up an image on his twitter handle showcasing a Motorola smartphone in three different colours. We believe the phone displayed in the image is none other than the upcoming Motorola Moto G5s Plus.
The image shows the supposed Motorola Moto G5s Plus in three different colours - pink, black, and silver. The image also gives away a full-frontal view of the handset along with a good look at the rear camera setup. As speculated in the previous rumours, this new leak confirms that the Motorola Moto G5s Plus comes with a dual-camera setup. The handset also seems to feature a slightly larger 5.5-inch display with the same resolution as that of the Moto G5 Plus.
Previous leaks from the same source said that the new Moto G5s Plus will come as an upgraded version of its predecessor, the Moto G5 Plus, in terms of size, build material, and imaging capabilities. As for the other specs, the Motorola Moto G5s Plus is said to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
One of the key highlights of the Moto G5s Plus has to be its dual-camera setup as seen in the image above. The handset is expected to pack in two 13MP sensors on the rear. The dual camera setup also comes with a LED flash below and offers features like the ‘Bokeh’ effect.
Based on the image, the front of the device sports a 5.5-inch display, as expected, with a front camera placed on top of the display alongside the various sensors. The front camera will most likely be an 8MP sensor with features like autofocus and front LED flash for capturing selfies in low light conditions.
Being a Motorola phone, it is safe to assume that the Moto G5s Plus will be running on the latest Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box. If recent rumours are anything to go by, then Motorola is allegedly preparing to unveil the Moto G5s Plus soon along with the Moto X4. Recently, Motorola launched its new smartphone the Moto Z2 Force on July 25.
